What’s On Tap This August at Railside Brewing

August is bursting with great beer, good vibes, and an incredible lineup of events at Railside Brewing. From live music and trivia to drag, country nights, and a full-on Luau, something is happening almost every night.

Here’s what’s coming up this month:

Friday, August 1 – Live Music with River of Kings
Kick off the month with the smooth, melodic sounds of River of Kings performing live on the patio. Great beer and great tunes, every Thursday night.

Friday, August 8 – Live Music with Cal Volpe
Enjoy a laid-back summer evening with singer-songwriter Cal Volpe as he brings the acoustic vibes to the RailTrail.

Friday, August 15 – Live Music with Sammy Cooper
Catch the always-entertaining Sammy Cooper as he fills the patio with folk-rock favourites and crowd-pleasing originals.

Saturday, August 16 – No Trivingo Tonight
Railside will be hosting a large private event this evening. We’ll see you next week for the return of Trivingo!

Friday, August 22 – Live Music with Giselle Sanderson
Spend your Thursday evening sipping cold craft beer while listening to the beautiful vocals of Giselle Sanderson.

Wednesday, August 20 – Drag Bingo
Always a hit! Drag Bingo returns with big laughs, sassy performances, and plenty of prizes. Get here early – seats fill fast!

Saturday, August 23 – Country Trivingo Takeover (in partnership with Kelowna Museums)
We’re teaming up with Kelowna Museums for a special Country Trivingo Night! This ticketed event includes a beer and all the fun of our classic music bingo-trivia mashup with a country twist. Proceeds support local history initiatives. Come ready to dab, dance, and donate!

Friday, August 29 – Live Music with Jeff Hansen
Close out the month’s music series with local favourite Jeff Hansen performing live.

Saturday, August 30 – Luau Party at Railside
Break out the Hawaiian shirts and tiki vibes- Railside is throwing a Luau! We’ll have specialty brews, a tropical beer release, and a full BBQ spread from BBQ Boss. Expect games, summer cocktails, and good times on the patio all night long.

On Wednesday, August 20th at 7:30PM, join us for a high-energy evening featuring Honey, who will be bringing the glam, the games, and the giggles!

Yeehaw! It’s Country Trivingo at Railside Brewing In Partnership with Kelowna Museums

August 23rd, September 20th & October 4th | 7–9 PM | No Cover

Saddle up for a night of toe-tappin’ tunes, cold craft beer, and some good ol’ fashioned fun! Railside Brewing is teaming up with Kelowna Museums to bring you Country Trivingo! This is a special edition of our crowd-favourite Saturday night Trivingo, with a boot-scootin’ twist.

What’s Trivingo?

It’s not quite bingo, not quite trivia, but it’s the best parts of both, with a musical twist! Hosted by the one-and-only Bonnie, you’ll be guessing country hits, dabbing your cards, and maybe even two-steppin’ in your seat.

What to Expect:

Country-themed music rounds from classics to modern hits
Prizes, surprises, and plenty of laughs
Ice-cold beer brewed right here at Railside
A little local flair thanks to our friends at Kelowna Museums
Free to play – just bring your boots and your best guessin’ game

Railside Brewing’s All-Day Luau Party – Saturday, August 30

Aloha, Summer!

We’re closing out summer in true island style with an all-day Luau Party at Railside Brewing, and you’re invited! Join us on Saturday, August 30, for a full day of cold beer, BBQ, tropical cocktails, and laid-back good times on the patio.

Here’s what’s in store:

New Beer Release – We’re dropping a limited-edition, island-inspired craft beer made just for the occasion. It’s crisp, refreshing, and brewed to match the tropical vibes.

Pig Roast by BBQ Boss – Dig into a traditional Hawaiian-style pig roast with all the fixings, fresh off the spit and served up hot starting in the afternoon. Come hungry cuz’ this one’s a feast.

Feature Cocktail – Escape to the islands with our special tiki-inspired cocktail, crafted to cool you down and keep the good times flowing.

Hawaiian Shirt Trivingo – 7–9 PM
The day ends with a Trivingo Night like no other, with our Hawaiian shirt edition! Hosted by Bonnie, this tropical twist on our Saturday night music bingo-trivia mashup will have you dabbing cards, guessing songs, and dancing in your flip-flops.

The most popular Trivia Night in Kelowna continues this Fall at Railside! Hosted by Matt, you’re always guaranteed at least one or two laughs, even if you don’t learn something new. 3 rounds of questions and 1 round of “Name that tune & artist”; the questions and categories are always changing and always sure to entertain!

Tiebreaker challenges include dance-offs, pictionary, and more because we all know – there are no ties allowed at Railside.

Bragging rights are on the line when the questions start at 6:30pm! Be sure to call ahead and book a table for your crew in advance because this is a busy one around here!
