What’s Going On This October at Railside Brewing

October doesn’t have to be scary. In fact, at Railside, it is shaping up to be another exciting month! From live music and trivia to unique events like Paint & Sip and Drag Bingo, plenty is happening on the Railside patio and inside the brewery. This is the official start of its back season – cuz’ we’re bringing back painting, bingo, biking, and more!

Here’s what’s coming up, friends:

Thursday, October 2 – Off the Rails Trivia
Test your knowledge and have some laughs with our weekly trivia night. Every Thursday from 7–9 pm.

Friday, October 3 – GoByBike Fall Ride & After Party + Live Music with Joshua Smith
Join us for the GoByBike Fall Week ride and after-party from 5–7 pm. Stick around for live music with singer-songwriter Joshua Smith starting at 7 pm.

The final event is in partnership with Kelowna Museums. Music, fun, and prizes starting at 7 pm.

Friday, October 10 – Live Music with Sammy Cooper
Singer-songwriter Sammy Cooper performs live at the brewery.

Saturday, October 11 – Music Trivingo with Bonnie
Weekly Music Trivingo continues from 7 pm, with prizes and sing-along fun.

Thursday, October 16 – Off the Rails Trivia
Weekly trivia night, 7–9 pm.

Friday, October 17 – Live Music with Cal Volpe
Enjoy rock tunes with Cal Volpe starting at 7 pm.

Saturday, October 18 – Sourdough Workshop 1 pm + Music Trivingo with Bonnie
Get tickets for the Sourdough Workshop @ 1 pm and then join us for another round of Music Trivingo starting at 7 pm.

Thursday, October 23 – Off the Rails Trivia
Weekly trivia night, 7–9 pm.

Wednesday, October 22 – Colorbrush Canvas Paint & Sip
From 6–9 pm, team up with Meshel from Colorbrush Canvas to create your masterpiece. Tickets are $60 and include a 16oz beverage. Painting selection is a curious-looking Highland Cow.

Saturday, October 25 – Music Trivingo with Bonnie + Amuse Kelowna @Revelry

Sunday, October 26 – Pumpkin Carving Contest
Get in the Halloween spirit from 3-6pm. Tickets are $15

Thursday, October 30 – Off the Rails Trivia

Tuesday, October 29 – Halloween Drag Bingo
Get into the spooky spirit with Honey Graham hosting Drag Bingo starting at 7 pm. No cover, 19+ event.

Thursday, October 31 – Trick or Treat on the Tracks Halloween Party
Live music from River of Kings and DJ WHITN3Y!

Kelowna’s first-ever GoByBike Fall Week is here! From September 27th to October 3rd, the city is celebrating cycling with a week of rides, events, and community fun. Railside Brewing is proud to be part of the celebration!

Yeehaw! It’s Country Trivingo at Railside Brewing In Partnership with Kelowna Museums

Saddle up for a night of toe-tappin’ tunes, cold craft beer, and some good ol’ fashioned fun! Railside Brewing is teaming up with Kelowna Museums to bring you Country Trivingo! This is a special edition of our crowd-favourite Saturday night Trivingo, with a boot-scootin’ twist.

What’s Trivingo?

It’s not quite bingo, not quite trivia, but it’s the best parts of both, with a musical twist! Hosted by the one-and-only Bonnie, you’ll be guessing country hits, dabbing your cards, and maybe even two-steppin’ in your seat.

Whether you’re brand new or have flirted with sourdough before, my beginners’ workshop will guide you through the essentials of baking tangy, crusty loaves from scratch—and yes, you’ll have a tasty brew in hand to sip on while we fold, snack on, and chat all things bread.

How to care for and maintain a sourdough starter
The science behind fermentation and wild yeast
Step-by-step dough mixing, folding, and shaping techniques

Join us on Wednesday, October 22nd, from 6 PM – 9 PM for a fun night of painting and sipping! We’ve teamed up with Meshel from Colorbrush Canvas once again to guide you through your masterpiece.

No experience necessary as you will receive step-by-step instructions in this 3-hour class from local artist, Meshel Lindstrand of Colorbrush Canvas.

All supplies provided—including use of professional brushes, apron, easel, water-soluble acrylic paint, and your 16×20 canvas!
