What’s Going On This September at Railside Brewing

September is shaping up to be one of the biggest and active months yet at Railside Brewing! From our annual Birthday Bash and Cornhole Contenders Cup to a packed lineup of live music, markets, and Oktoberfest celebrations, there’s no shortage of reasons to gather around the Railside patio this month!

Here’s what’s coming up:

Friday, September 5 – Live Music with Bush Party
Ease into the weekend with the high-energy sounds of Bush Party, live on the Railside patio.

Saturday, September 6 – Cornhole Contenders Cup + Beer Garden & DJ
The competition is back! Test your tossing skills in our Cornhole tournament and stick around as we keep the beer garden open all day with drink specials. DJ set runs from 6–9 pm.

Sunday, September 7 – Railside Birthday Bash
We’re celebrating turning the big 03 with a full day of fun!

Dunk Tank: $5 for 3 throws, with all proceeds supporting Paws It Forward Dog Rescue. Matt and Rob have generously (bravely) volunteered to be dunked- others are welcome too!
Live Music: Jeff Hansen will keep us humming from 12–3 pm, and NICO will get us through the late afternoon from 4–6 pm.
Cake & Speeches: It wouldn’t be a party without a word or two. We’ll keep it short and in between sets.
Games & Contests: With our parking lot permit, we’re set for up to 300 guests -let’s make it a party to remember! Tell your friends to bring more friends!

Friday, September 12 – Closed for Private Event
Railside will be closing at 5 pm for a wedding reception. We’ll see you back next week!

Sunday, September 14 – Fall Vintage Market
Back and bigger than ever! With 20+ vendors, extended hours (12–6 pm), and all the shopping vibes, this market is the perfect way to spend a Sunday.

Friday, September 19 – Live Music with River of Kings
A Railside favourite returns! Enjoy smooth melodies and great beer as River of Kings takes the stage.

Saturday, September 20 – Oktoberfest + Country Music Trivingo
Prost! Celebrate the first day of Oktoberfest in Munich with the release of our Fest Das Bier, brats and sides from BBQ Boss, and plenty of festive fun. Stick around for Country Music Trivingo starting at 7 pm- dab, sing along, and maybe win a prize!

Friday, September 26 – Live Music with Michaela Bray
Close out the month’s music lineup with the soulful vocals of Michaela Bray.

Think you’ve got what it takes to toss your way to the top?

Railside Brewing’s Semi-Annual Cornhole Contenders Cup is back, and we’re calling on all backyard pros, pub-game champions, and friendly rivals to join the action!

On Saturday, September 6, from 11 AM to 3 PM, the brewery patio area transforms into a cornhole battleground where skill meets bragging rights. Whether you’re a competitive thrower or just in it for the laughs, this is the event to test your aim and have a great time doing it.

Where: Railside Brewing Patio and Parking Lot
Entry Fee: $25 per person
Capacity: Maximum 50 players, first come, first served! Register below now!

Railside is turning 3, and we are celebrating with a party you will not want to miss. Join us for a full day of live music, games, beer specials, and plenty of birthday fun as we mark another year in the neighbourhood along the RailTrail.

Dunk Tank for a Cause
Take your best shot. Five bucks gets you three throws at the dunk tank, with all proceeds supporting Paws It Forward Dog Rescue. Matt and Rob have volunteered to take the plunge, and others are welcome to join in.

Cake and Cheers
Stick around between music sets for birthday speeches and a slice of cake to share with the Railside community.

Beer Garden and Games
With our parking lot permit, we are expanding capacity to 300 people. Expect outdoor games, contests, and plenty of cold beer to keep the good times going.

Saddle up for a night of toe-tappin’ tunes, cold craft beer, and some good ol’ fashioned fun! Railside Brewing is teaming up with Kelowna Museums to bring you Country Trivingo! This is a special edition of our crowd-favourite Saturday night Trivingo, with a boot-scootin’ twist.

What’s Trivingo?

It’s not quite bingo, not quite trivia, but it’s the best parts of both, with a musical twist! Hosted by the one-and-only Bonnie, you’ll be guessing country hits, dabbing your cards, and maybe even two-steppin’ in your seat.
